Renovation of a residential building
In a historic 17th-century building in critical structural and functional condition, we undertook a comprehensive renovation aimed at securing its structure and enhancing its spaces. The damaged foundations were completely rebuilt, creating a habitable basement, while the roof was raised and reorganized to create new spaces, in compliance with regulations and landscape restrictions.
The project involved a careful permit process, dialogue with the landscape commission, and technical coordination with structural engineers and MEP technicians. The result is a contemporary, efficient, and spacious residence within a perfectly restored historic building.
